Bayron met with Embassy of Canada officials, Deputy Program Manager and Trade Commissioner Ms. Eleonore Rupprecht and Trade Commissioner for Infrastructure Mr. Dodjie Fabian, during a courtesy call held on March 17, 2026 at the City Mayor&rsquo;s Office, together with City Planning Officer Engr. Jovenee Sagun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation between Canada and the City Government of Puerto Princesa, particularly in sustainable infrastructure, clean energy, digital connectivity, and urban development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with this, the Canadian officials shared smart solutions aimed at improving traffic management and public safety, along with eco-friendly initiatives and waste-to-energy technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also expressed their willingness to hold a separate meeting with the City Government to further discuss these initiatives and explore possible partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mayor Lucilo R.
